I have this little lotad figure. I don't know where it came from (it might even belong to Josh) but it's always in the strangest places. I think he's very cute XD but it's getting creepy. I should take a picture!

I have a picture of this XD instead. Because I took photos of my collection forever ago.

I really like this POKEMON HOODIE by ErosDIY on Etsy http://bit.ly/bSCFMT shame it's bootleg mystery fabric with the digimons and all that. If it was minus digimons I would probably buy it. Maybe it's a bit small though, S/M but the physical measurements seem more M... flat measurements are confusing!

Hmm... I still have not updated that website properly

My mom was making fun of me because my christmas tree is still up, not a big one, just a little one.

I really really need to find a pledge fabric sweeper, love my new sofa but it's really clingy to dog hair. Ryan got me a nice big pincushion to use instead of using the sofa arm :) I don't know why I'm writing in Lj today because I have nothing to say really. I guess it's a habit now. I'm really busy with things, and internet is bad for getting things done so I should really keep off it.

I love this plush http://areyouaniceguy.com/products/awkward-turtle

Aww man I want to avoid work at all costs today :( but that's no good! Come on me, work hard for one more week, make big pink, and clean your house to a respectable level for visitors. Yes =D then everyone can come to your house for the big family tradition that is secret, well not that much family ;D just two sisters and a boyfriend-in-law. I hope everyone can come, and that I can get some decent gluesticks.

Bitchy FAQ time, inspired by recent bombardments to.. well pretty much everyone who makes plush ever. Many of you might be aware of this already, but I have a real hard time being clear with my poor language skills, especially without coming across as being bitchy. Here is my latest attempt to help some people understand why they can't have other peoples things just because they want them.

Can I have your pattern FAQ

No, I don't give out all my patterns. The work people pay me for is supposed to be one of a kind, so to preserve that, I do not give out my patterns that I use for these plush.

Patterns take time to design and even more time to perfect, they don't come from nowhere, so they are not free. This is why when you go to a store to get a pattern they cost money.

Plush artists work hard over may years to develop patterns, and they build a unique recognizable style of their own, asking for the pattern is like asking for someone's line art to make your drawing.

It starts with a pattern but will turn into "how do I put this together", tutorials take time, not everyone has time to make one just because you want one. Having a pattern will not give you the ability to recreate what you want the pattern of. It's best to learn about sewing from the huge amounts of sewing resources online, then try and make a plush.

I do have free patterns with tutorials, but it is up to you to learn about sewing yourself, I am happy to share techniques when I have the time to do so, and if I have had time (and even when I have not) you will find these here. If you have trouble using my tutorials, remember "you get what you pay for", you might want to buy a book with information by professionals.

Because if I don't put it on every picture in my gallery ...

I could really do with the extra few hours a week that get lost to answering this question over and over. I should really update my FAQ and put the important bits in all my devs.

PS: I really wouldn't feel bad about not responding to those notes asking me about it after this, because even if they hadn't seen my front page with "no commissions" I would have to believe that they had seen it on the dev.

Can be read clearly right????

I feel like such a whiner, I would rather feel like a wino, or a Lion-O

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4.Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result as a comment in this post. Also, pass it along in your own journal because it's more amusing that way.

And so I did it again, the head. Still very unsatisfied :( I was going to post photos and ask for opinions, but I know that I am very unsatisfied and I wouldn't be swayed anyway :(

So again I will do-over this head, the way I KNOW it will work, and wait until next time to make one with a "natural scalpline"

I did a magical fail! I was trying to adapt my recent natural scalp line plush to be a super big head and it didn't really fit well, the chin is waaaaaaaay small :/ Do over time. I might go with a regular head since Cythina is long haired, but I was hoping to try out a boy plush :( needs more work.

I just gave up the chance to go play in the city, because I have too much housework and sewing to do. I might manage to become a responsible adult someday after all. I don't think I'll be live streaming today, well not anytime soon.. maybe the evening. I still have to organize my table and get the stuff that is upstairs, downstairs.

I really think I have made my most functional pants pattern yet! It doesn't look like much, but I think I cured the shortening while sitting problem without just making the pant legs really long, and that makes me happy! I still prefer making cute skirts ;P short ones, pleated ones, frilly ones! I've noticed there is a lack of these in pokemon, but there is plenty of knee/calf length pants which are completely disturbing XD

Giant headed chibi plush are awesome and fun and awesome. I better finish one XD instead of talking about it so much!

Getting way ahead of myself (as usual) I really have wanted to make a little plush scene/diorama (forver), but I would like to put it in some kind of plastic dome. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that around here in stores, anyone know where to get something like that? Don't let me end up using a pepsi bottle XD

Today, I am trying something new with pants. That really big headed chibi style has a large but like the old style. There has always been a bit of a problem with the pants riding up when the plush sits down :( sucks! Well maybe not the biggest problem ever, but I've never gotten around to making a real re-usable pattern for pants. This time I will make a hard copy of it, if it works out. I'm heading to put it together right now!

I think I might have made Cynthias' neckline too high?? I didn't quite know how low to plunge it, I figure it isn't supposed to be real cleavage-y but then I don't get much space for that fluff around her neck with a chibi, because they don't really have a neck. I haven't really decided what fluff to use yet. There was no short fur at the store in black. OH there was minky! They got in minky at my local store!!! But it was all dot minky -_- whywhywhy haha.

Well it's time for me to put these pants together and put the top of the body/attach the head and test stuff it. Hopefully before this Vincent Price movie is over =D The Baron of Arizona.

Mornings are not my favorite! I'm going to check out the local fabric store on my way back from taking Josh to school, maybe they decided to suddenly stock everything useful to me ;D I got plenty to do still, I didn't end up working on Cynthia and Dawn eyes because I have to use my downstairs computer :( I hope my printer ink didn't freeze! I forgot that I put the printer on the ledge by the window. I have to print the outline at least, to make them symmetrical before I get at them with the airbrush =D I would record that process but I get the feeling there will be many mistakes made the first time I do it.

The good news is, the weather is freaking cold again at -24C. There still needs to be a bit more snow, everyone is sad that there isn't enough snow this year for snowmobiling.

It's days like today that I wish I had lots of yellow velboa, for surely I would make a pikachu.

I went grocery shopping a day early to walk out some stress XD I feel better (see I can still afford to eat, I just have run out of supplies monies which is a very frivolous thing).

If I'm up to date on my household chores I'm going to do some live streaming on the weekend =D a couple of people to prod me onward wouldn't hurt at this point ;D but seriously I have to clean up that room >_< it's sooooooooooo messy and disorganized again because I'm pretty much using it for storage and still working upstairs (still not allowed to stick pins in the couch)
